25th Anniversary of Aldabra as World Heritage Site-New commemorative stamps released |12 December 2007

A First Day Cover (FDC) affixed with these three stamps has also been issued
Seychelles’ new tourism branding (logo) also features on the stamps and the FDC.

A R2 stamp features the Zangiv (Solanum Aldabrensis), a R3.50 stamp features the Dugong or sea cow (Dugong Dugong) while a R10 stamp portrays the Giant Tortoise (Geochelone Gigantea).

The FDC costs R18.50

According to a press release from the Seychelles Postal Services, the stamps were to be released on November 19 but had to be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
