Court of Appeal clears backlog, sets new standard in efficiency
One of the most notable achievements highlighted in the Judiciary of Seychelles Annual Report 2025 is the complete elimination of historical backlogs at the Court of Appeal.
As of October 21, 2025, following a comprehensive five‑year strategy, the court had cleared all cases carried over from previous years. Only matters filed in 2025 remain pending, marking a major milestone in judicial efficiency.
