State House reaffirms security and dignity of former Presidents

State House has reaffirmed its full respect for former heads of State and the legal provisions that safeguard their security and dignity.

Routine national security assessments have highlighted the need for heightened vigilance regarding the security of President Patrick Herminie. In response, the Defence Forces are reviewing and adjusting protective measures to ensure the President’s safety and the uninterrupted functioning of State institutions.
