Dementia and Alzheimer’s: A growing concern for Seychelles
Dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, is one of the fastest-growing health and social challenges of our time. It affects, not only those living with the condition, but also their families, caregivers, and society at large. Around the world, someone develops dementia every three seconds. Seychelles is no exception. With an ageing population, we are seeing more families touched by this illness, often struggling in silence.
