Seychelles has received R66,822.01 in royalty shares from the sale of its hydrographic charts.
The charts were produced by India based on surveys conducted in Seychelles’ waters between 2005 and 2020. India has been producing charts on behalf of Seychelles in view of the country’s limited hydrographic capacity.
The handing over of the cheque was held on Thursday afternoon during a high-level meeting between the Ministry of Transport, Ports and Civil Aviation and a delegation from India. The meeting at the Botanical House was aimed at advancing ongoing collaboration in hydrography.
