Stakeholders learn more on ‘maintaining a safe stadium during competitions’
With the Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup, scheduled to take place in Seychelles between May 1-11, 2025, the sport’s local governing body, in collaboration with its continental parent organisation successfully hosted a three-day training on maintaining a safe stadium during competitions.
The Confédération Africaine de Football (Caf) Safe Stadium Initiative training, a request from the confederation’s Safety and Security department, has the objectives of promoting safe stadium culture during international matches on the African continent, and to ensure that all officials of Caf’s member associations responsible for the delivery of safety and security at match venues in Africa have the proper training to function effectively.
