Swimming: National Age Group Championships – Day One

From domestic to international event

Traditionally a local event where the country’s most promising young swimmers engage in fierce competition, stunning record-breaking performances, and thrilling displays of talent, the National Age Group Championships have now morphed into an international, gathering overseas clubs, bringing more actions and challenges.

For this year’s competition – which will last five days – other than local clubs Mahe Skimmers Sports Club, Aquafins Swimming Club, Toto Sports Club, and the La Digue Swimming Club, three international clubs, namely Madagascar Aquatics, Sea Horse Aquatic Centre (from Kenya) and Moka Rangers Sports Club from Mauritius, have also joined the race for the top prizes.
