Four athletes to represent Seychelles at first Games
While a large group of young Seychellois athletes will be competing at the upcoming 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games, set to take place between August 1-10, another group will be tasked with defending our national flag at another youth Games, precisely the first-ever African School Games set to take place in Algiers, Algeria, from July 25 to August 6.
Under the auspices of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (Anoca), the multi-sport youth competition – initially scheduled for early July – has been rescheduled and expanded, reflecting growing interest and logistical planning to involve multiple host cities, namely Annaba, Sétif, Constantine, and Skikda.
