Impacts of the explosion on the RCSS headquarters

Following the explosion of December 7, 2023, which caused significant damage to the Red Cross Society of Seychelles’ headquarters, the much-needed renovations have officially begun, offering a sense of relief to the operational team.

The building, located in Providence, suffered extensive damage, with windows and doors blown out and equipment destroyed. The resulting exposure left both the building and its staff vulnerable to flooding during rainstorms, which compounded the challenges faced.
