United Seychelles expresses deepest condolences on the passing of Maître Francis Chang-Sam

Dr Patrick Herminie, party president and presidential candidate of the United Seychelles party, has expressed his deepest condolences, on behalf of the party and himself, following the passing of Maître Francis Chang-Sam, former Attorney General and esteemed lawyer.

“It is with profound sadness that we have learned of the passing of Maître Francis Chang-Sam. Seychelles has lost a true statesman, a dedicated professional, and a man of unwavering integrity,” Dr Herminie stated. “Maître Chang-Sam's contributions to our nation are immeasurable, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.”

Dr Herminie recalled his professional relationship with Maître Chang-Sam, particularly during their time serving the nation. “As a member of the Constitutional Commission, I had the privilege of working alongside Maître Chang-Sam during his tenure as Attorney General. His diligence, professionalism, and commitment to justice were evident in every interaction. He served with the highest level of integrity, earning the respect of all who had the opportunity to work with him.”
