Seychelles community extends support to flood-hit Nepal   |26 September 2026

A contribution of US $1,000 has been made towards relief efforts in Nepal, as people in Seychelles continue to show solidarity with communities affected by the devastating flash floods that struck the country in August.

The contribution was presented by Dr Vanessa Lesperance, president of the Soroptimist Club, on behalf of the organisation and its supporters. She said the donation reflected the friendship and solidarity between the people of Seychelles and Nepal as affected communities continue to recover from the disaster.
