Careers Week highlights changing world of work

The changing face of employment in Seychelles – from traditional occupations of the past to emerging careers shaped by technology and innovation – took centre stage yesterday with the official launch of Careers Week 2026.

Held under the theme ‘Making Informed Career Choices for a Successful Future – Jobs Then and Now’, the launch formed part of activities marking 50 years of Seychelles’ Independence, with pupils and professionals reflecting on how the world of work has evolved over the decades.
