President meets Seychellois community in Doha, Qatar |23 March 2021

President Wavel Ramkalawan, who is on a three-day official visit in the State of Qatar, on Sunday met with members of the Seychellois community living and working in Doha.

Also present for the meeting was the First Lady, Linda Ramkalawan; the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism, Sylvestre Radegonde; and Minister for Finance, Economic Planning and Trade, Naadir Hassan.

During the meeting, the President shared information in relation to his official visit in Doha and prospective outcomes for the benefit of Seychelles.

As a new administration, he also outlined the new action oriented approach adopted by his government in order to continue moving the country forward.

The meeting was also an opportunity for the Seychellois professionals present to hold open discussions with the head of State, share their views, exchange ideas and through their respective technical expertise how they can get involved and further support their country.
