President Herminie proceeds on overseas leave |23 July 2026

The Office of the President wishes to inform the public that President Patrick Herminie will proceed

on overseas leave from today, Thursday, July 23 to Monday, August 3, 2026.

During the President's absence, Vice-President Sebastien Pillay will assume the responsibilities and

will represent the Republic in the discharge of official duties and engagements.
