Seychelles Breweries launches Creole inspired beer |04 February 2021
Seychelles Breweries has launched its first Creole-inspired beer for local consumers.
Vann Swet was inspired by the company’s employees who originated the Creole inspired brand name and taste profile after conducting detailed local market research.
The newly launched beer is packaged in 500ml can format, a new format size for Seychelles Breweries, which has invested significantly in new packaging equipment at the brewery over the past 12 months.
The launch of Vann Swet joins the current beer portfolio of Seybrew, Eku and Guinness, enabling the company to compete effectively in a segment where imported brands have been prevalent. In so doing it offers local Seychellois consumers a new, locally produced alternative, and reduces the requirement for foreign exchange at this difficult time.
Vann Swet is an expertly crafted beer full of malty biscuity, spicy and fruity flavours which gives a crispy and silky-smooth mouthfeel with a well-rounded aftertaste.
Priced at R50 per can Vann Swet has an ABV of 8% and is available in most retail outlets across the country.
Seychelles Breweries advocates for the responsible consumption of all its alcoholic brands.
“We are very proud to bring you another great tasting product, freshly brewed here in Seychelles,” says the company in a communiqué.
