Cambridge International November 2020 exam session: |23 January 2021
Independent School students record high grades
The Independent School has expressed its satisfaction with the results of the IGCSE, AS and A-Level Cambridge exams its students sat in November last year.
A.Level
Twenty-two year two (2) students sat a total of 71 A-Level exam entries, out of which six students sat four subjects. 100% pass grades were recorded, with 94% at C or higher, showing a 17.1% increase from previous year.
Twenty (20) students scored 18 points or above; this includes 10 students who scored 30 points or above. The other two students scored 12 to 17 points.
Sanjeetha Pillay, having scored four ‘A*’s deserves special mention. Other students who scored at least four ‘A’s or above are Steffie Hoareau and Amariah Rigodon.
Thus 100% of the cohort has met the current criteria for a scholarship or grant from the Agency for National Human Resource Development (ANHRD) either locally or abroad ‒ a well-deserved feat for the hard work and efforts of these students in a very difficult year affected by Covid-19.

We congratulate all the students for their hard work, especially giventhe school closure due to Covid-19 lockdown last year and the consequent challenges this created. We wish them the very best in their further studies and careers.
The school management and board members also warmly thank the staff who, through their efforts and commitment over the years, have ensured that the students performed to the very best of their abilities. Similarly, we recognise and sincerely appreciate the support and encouragement that we received from parents during the time that they entrusted their children’s education to us.
