President meets members of the taxi operators association

President Wavel Ramkalawan received members of the Seychelles Taxi Operators Association at State House on Thursday last week.

He was accompanied by Vice-President Ahmed Afif.

The meeting was an opportunity for the members to share with the President their key concerns and issues affecting taxi operators particularly at present while the country is being affected by the economic crisis caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic.

As representatives of the taxi association, members present expressed appreciation to the president and vice-president for having made the time in their busy schedules despite having been in office for less than two months.

The president listened to their concerns and along with them, engaged in a constructive dialogue to find effective and strategic solutions for the future. President Ramkalawan thanked the members for their frank and positive contributions all of which will assist government to make informed decisions for the benefit of all partners involved.
