Winnie Nourrice is the star prize winner of Sacos’ insurance plan promotion.

She receives a return ticket to Bangkok sponsored by Sri Lankan Airlines and Sacos.

Other prizes include a one night stay for two, bed and breakfast at Avani Seychelles Resort and Spa which has been won by Jacqueline Steinmayr and Marie-Antoinette Rose.                             

The winners received their prizes during a ceremony held yesterday.

Sacos launched a special promotion for customers who have bought a travel insurance between April 15 and June 30, 2019.

The campaign involved TV, newspaper and social media adverts which were geared to create the awareness of travel insurance and its protection from a variety of events that may cause a financial loss during their trip.

The travel insurance covers medical and emergency assistance expenses for up to US $100,000, return ticket and accommodation for a family member to your holiday destination in case of your hospitalisation, delays, loss of passport or luggage, as well as legal defense. In this way, the policy enables you to travel with a peace of mind knowing that in any such eventualities, you are taken care of.

“We are very happy with the number of enquires we received throughout the campaign and how responsive people were. It is encouraging to see that people are interested to learn more about the benefits of travel insurance, especially since our nation is one which travels a great deal to many other parts of the world. The awareness of travel insurance will continue throughout the year and Sacos will also be announcing the next promotion in the coming months.
