Later in the day, the president visited Masdar City, which is considered a pioneer in sustainability and a hub for research and development, spearheading innovations to realise greener, more sustainable urban living. The tour was led by the director of energy services, Khaled Ballaith and accompanied by the director of clean energy, Yousif Al Ali.
This visit was an opportunity for President Ramkalawan to explore areas of possible exchange between the UAE and Seychelles, particularly in the area of sustainable living and green energy technology potentially beneficial in line with Seychelles’ sustainable development strategy.
