President Ramkalawan to undertake first state visit to Mauritius |26 November 2020
President Wavel Ramkalawan will undertake a three-day state visit to Mauritius from November 29 to December 2 at the invitation of the Prime Minister of Mauritius, H.E Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.
This marks the first state visit to be undertaken by President Ramkalawan since taking office and presents an opportunity to further strengthen the long-standing excellent bilateral ties that exist between the two island nations.
The President will be accompanied by the First Lady Linda Ramkalawan, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvestre Radegonde, Commander of the Seychelles Coastguard Colonel Simon Dine, director for world affairs and countries Patsy Moustache and senior officer of the Seychelles' Anti-Narcotics Bureau, Yves Leon.
The President will leave the country on November 29 and will return on December 2.
In line with Public Health Authority guidelines during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, all the necessary health advice and precautionary measures are being observed to ensure the safe departure and return of the delegation
