Hoareau ranks 80th after round four
Local chess player Benjamin Hoareau, who is presently taking part in the 2019 Commonwealth Chess Championship at the Leela Ambience Convention Hotel in Delhi, India, was 80th overall after round four of the competition on Tuesday.
Hoareau has accumulated 1.0 point on day four of the seven-round competition which will go until Sunday July 7.
Three Indian players, namely Abhijeet Gupta, Krishnan Saravana and Das Debashis are leading the standings.
Seychelles’ other representative at the tournament is Mohamed Arfan who is competing in the under-14 category.
The tournament is being hosted by the Delhi Chess Association under the aegis of the All India Chess Federation (AICF), on behalf of the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) and the Commonwealth Chess Association.
