Farmers get to see Coetivy’s potential for large scale agriculture |05 August 2020
A group of farmers from different associations from Mahé, Praslin and La Digue were invited to Coetivy yesterday by the Islands Development Company (IDC) to see first hand the island’s potential for large scale agriculture.
Led by the chief executive of IDC Glenny Savy, the representatives from Agricultural Producers Association Seychelles (Apas), Seychelles Farmers Association (Seyfa), Baie Ste Anne Farmers Association, La Digue Farmers Association among other individuals and representative from the Seychelles Agriculture Agency (SAA) visited hectares of land that could be used for crop and livestock production.
