Mayor of Victoria participates in tree-planting activity

The Mayor of Victoria, David Andre, participated in a tree-planting activity yesterday at the Freedom Square in Victoria in commemoration of Environment Day.

“We were supposed to be with a group of students, but because of the bad weather, the students from English River secondary school could not make it. Nonetheless, Gonzague Dailoo from the association 'Zanfan losean EZ’ and myself planted 21 coconut saplings. In 2018 we planted a batch of trees which are now grown and healthy,” noted Mayor Andre.
