President Danny Faure yesterday met the chairperson and members of the Constitutional Appointments Authority.

The chairperson, Michel Felix, presented President Faure with new guidelines that the Constitutional Appointments Authority (CAA) had developed for recommending to the President the appointment of judicial officers, other Constitutional appointees and such other appointments where the law requires the recommendations of the CAA.

The CAA also briefed the president on various issues related to the work of the authority.
