Fight against COVID-19 Local business donates face masks to Mont Fleuri police

The handover of the masks

Abacus (Seychelles) Limited, a Mont Fleuri-based business, has donated 50 face masks stitched locally to the Mont Fleuri police station.

The masks were made by the local business ‘The Sewing House’ thereby encouraging local businesses to come out with innovative solutions.

While the world faces a massive shortage of personal protective equipment, they hope that these face masks will offer some protection to the police staff who are exposed during the line of duty.

The police, with a staff force of 15,000, needs many more masks and other personal protective equipment.

Abacus (Seychelles) Limited is encouraging all individuals, businesses to contribute a mask to our police and other front line workers.
