Vehicle Testing Station introduces measures against spread of COVID-19 |25 March 2020

Given the recent confirmation of COVID-19 cases in the country, the Vehicle Testing Station (VTS) has introduced a number of precautionary measures towards containing the spread of this virus.

The Road Transport Commission has however stressed that the station has not closed down as stated by the leader of the opposition in the National Assembly yesterday.

The Road Transport Commission has only introduced a number of precautionary measures towards containing the spread of the virus as advised by the health department. This includes limiting the number of interactions and contact with clients as a means of protecting both staff of VTS and the public at large.

As noted in a public notice, as from today, Wednesday March 25, 2020, only clients with appointments will be accepted at VTS and no walk-in clients will be entertained.

Appointments will be allocated on priority basis and can be booked on 4322263.

The Road Transport Commission will update the public of any change in measures and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
