Beyond self: The power of living for future generations.

Every morning, an elderly man walked to an empty piece of land and planted a tree. Day after day, he continued this simple but meaningful routine.

One morning, a curious young person approached him and asked:

"Why do you continue planting trees? You are already old. You may never live long enough to enjoy their shade or taste their fruits."

The old man paused, smiled gently and replied:

"I am not planting these trees only for myself. I am planting them for those who will come after me."
