TRNUC to establish direct communication with complainants as it reviews 375 cases

The Truth, Reconciliation and National Unity Commission will establish a direct communication framework with complainants whose cases have been verified and included in its final report, as it begins reviewing approximately 375 cases.

The commission will also introduce a system to verify each complainant’s status, identity and legal basis for their claim, as well as determine the stage each case has reached. This will facilitate communication and coordination with the relevant legal authorities.
