Minister Faure highlights human capital and diaspora engagement

Seychelles’ Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora, Barry Faure, has called for greater investment in human capital and stronger diaspora engagement to help small states overcome skills shortages and advance national development.

He made the call at the Commonwealth Ministerial Meeting on Small States (CMMSS), held on the margins of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in St John’s, in Antigua and Barbuda on November 1, 2026.
