Young people to lead creation of new national youth policy

Young Seychellois are being placed at the centre of efforts to shape the country’s next National Youth Policy, with the revised framework expected to be implemented in March 2027.

Through a series of consultations and engagement sessions, young people will play a leading role in identifying priorities, proposing solutions and helping define the policies that will guide youth development in the years ahead.

The Ministry of Youth & Sports, in collaboration with the National Youth Policy Committee, is currently reviewing the existing policy through consultations with key stakeholders, including educators, school leaders and student support professionals.
