Bad weather prompts venue change for Festival Kreol opening

The official opening ceremony of the 41st Festival Kreol, originally scheduled to take place at the Music Stadium on Friday at 6pm, has been moved to the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS) and will now begin at 6.30pm due to unfavourable weather conditions.

The change of venue was announced yesterday by Creative Seychelles Agency chief executive Margaret Raguin during a brief interview at the Music Stadium, where preparations had been under way for the event.
