Lessons from Barbados and UK to shape Seychelles care sector

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family & Equality is exploring ways to strengthen home care delivery and professionalise care work following a learning and fact-finding mission to Barbados and the United Kingdom led by Minister Pamela Charlette.

The mission focused on identifying sustainable, high-quality home care models suited to Seychelles while examining elderly wellbeing, child protection, disability support, workforce development, institutional reform and digital transformation.
