Former AG recalls receiving CCCL investigation docket

Former Attorney General Frank Ally on Wednesday told the Commission of Inquiry into Civil Construction Company Limited (CCCL) that his office became involved in the matter only at a later stage of the investigation.

Mr Ally, who served as Attorney General from October 2020 to October 2024, said he only learned of the December 7, 2023 explosion after the event and was not involved in the immediate response or investigations at the scene.
