An exhibition at the Seychelles Hospital is showcasing the critical role environmental health professionals play in protecting public health as Seychelles marks World Environmental Health Day 2026. The event highlights how science and evidence guide efforts to manage environmental risks and safeguard communities.
Observed annually on September 26, World Environmental Health Day recognises the important contribution of environmental health professionals to the protection and promotion of public health.
This year's observance is being held under the theme, ‘Environmental Health: Standing with Science to Protect Communities’, designated by the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH).
