New strategies proposed for jobs and labour migration

The Ministry of Employment & Human Resource Planning has reviewed the National Employment Policy and National Labour Migration Policy to better respond to changing labour market demands. The proposed updates focus on skills development, youth employment, localisation, worker protection and building a future-ready workforce.

A workshop aimed at validating the proposed recommendations and strategies arising from the review of both policies took place yesterday at Olympic House, Roche Caïman.
