Seychelles hosts advocacy mission on ratification of AfCFTA Phase II protocols

The Trade Division of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Trade & Investment, in collaboration with the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) secretariat, hosted a two-day advocacy mission in Seychelles from September 21 to 22, 2026to advance discussions on the ratification of the Phase II Protocols of the AfCFTA.

The mission brings together representatives from the AfCFTA secretariat, government and relevant national stakeholders to discuss Seychelles’ progress towards ratification, the implications of the Phase II Protocols, and the measures required to support their effective implementation.
