Seychelles’ longest‑serving ambassador shares his journey
Ambassador Claude Morel retired from the diplomatic service on June 30 at the age of 69, after representing Seychelles internationally for more than 40 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he served in key capitals including New York, Brussels, Paris, and Pretoria, held senior positions such as Foreign Secretary, and became Seychelles’ longest‑serving ambassador. Seychelles NATION sat down with him to reflect on his journey.
