President urges Seychellois to be architects of peace

“Fellow Seychellois,

“As Seychelles joins the international community in commemorating the International Day of Peace, this year’s theme, ‘Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day’, reminds us that peace is not simply something we enjoy. It is something we must consciously build, protect and strengthen.

“I welcome the contribution of the International Peace Day Committee, working in collaboration with UPF Seychelles, the Father’s Association, WASO, the Mayor’s Office, SNYC, the Ministry of Education, Zanfan Losean EZ and the Charity Choir, in bringing together voices from across our society around this shared message of peace.
