• Seychelles Alzheimer’s Foundation exhibition puts creativity at the heart of remembrance
At Kenwyn House, paintings created by people living with dementia tell stories of creativity, connection and hope.
Memories can live in photographs, be carried through stories, or find expression in colour, shape, movement and art. This month, a collection of paintings and drawings at the Kenwyn House Art Gallery quietly tells such stories.
Organised by the Seychelles Alzheimer’s Foundation (SAF) as part of World Alzheimer’s Month 2026, the exhibition brings together artworks created during the foundation’s regular creative sessions. Running until September 30, it is more than a display of paintings – it is an invitation to look beyond dementia and see imagination, individuality and emotion at work.
