Baie Ste Anne children learn to give back to the community

Around 75 children from Baie Ste Anne spent their August holiday engaged in activities aimed at giving back to their community, including tree planting, visits to the elderly, cleaning around residences and reforestation.
The 10‑day programme concluded yesterday afternoon with a closing ceremony at the district’s community centre, attended by parents, organisers, animators and the children.
During the ceremony, a video showcasing the activities was projected for parents, while the children entertained the audience with dance and singing performances. Remarks from organisers and community members encouraged continuing such initiatives to guide children onto the right path, and expressed thanks to all who contributed.
