Seychelles joins China in marking National Ecological Day

China’s National Ecological Day was celebrated in Seychelles with a tree‑planting and invasive species removal activity at Morne Seychellois National Park on August 15.

The event brought together Chinese ambassador to Seychelles Lin Nan, staff of the Chinese embassy, forestry and national park staff from the Seychelles Parks and Gardens Authority (SPGA), representatives from the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Energy and Natural Resources, and Special Advisor to the minister Denis Matatiken. It was a lively demonstration of partnership and shared ecological responsibility.
