Danio Marcelin to tackle psychological abuse in new Seychelles film Vacant Light

Young Seychellois businessman turned filmmaker Danio Marcelin is taking on the subject of domestic abuse in Vacant Light, an upcoming psychological thriller that explores abuse without physical scars but with lasting psychological damage. Produced in Seychelles and tentatively slated for release in late 2027 or early 2028, the film will evolve from psychological thriller into horror, telling a darker story of narcissism, manipulation, and victims’ experiences.
