Inner islands health workers help shape new era of care

Health workers from Praslin and La Digue are taking part in a two-day conference under the theme ‘The New Era of Care – Reform with Heart: Transforming Care for Every Seychellois’.

Officially opened yesterday at the Oasis Hotel Restaurant & Spa on Praslin, the conference offers health workers an opportunity to better understand the minister’s vision for the sector while discussing ways to strengthen care delivery and improve patient services.

A key session, ‘The Minister’s Vision’, was presented by Minister for Health Dr Marvin Fanny, followed by a Q&A session where participants sought clarification on the vision and planned direction for the sector.
