Lions of Seychelles committed to Lionism, urging greater voluntary service

“I figured that I could make a small difference on my own, but by joining with other like‑minded people, we could make a bigger difference,” said newly appointed Lion Dharam Vir Sharma, Regional Membership Convenor for Region G, Zone 13 (Seychelles) for the Lionistic year 2026–27, appointed by Lions International USA.

Lion Sharma, who joined the Lions Club in 2014, expressed pride in being part of the Lions of Seychelles. “Today we have more dedicated and kind‑hearted Lions serving in the Lions Club, Seychelles Centennial Women Lions Club, Melvin Jones Fellows, and Leos. Where there is need, there is a Lion. Once you become a Lions Club member, you are connected to a bigger family of about 1.4 million members worldwide,” he said.
