 Amani Sinon has won the prestigious President’s Cup as the outstanding student of the Seychelles Institute of Teacher Education’s 2025–2026 cohort.

Ms Sinon, who completed the Diploma in Education – Secondary (History & Geography), received the award from Vice-President Sebastien Pillay during the institute’s graduation ceremony held Thursday afternoon at the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS).

She was among 92 graduates who successfully completed programmes at SITE: Certificate in Childcare and Development (42), Certificate in Education for Teacher Assistants (24), Diploma in Education – Early Childhood (10), Diploma in Education – Primary (7), and Diploma in Education – Secondary with specialisation (9). Courses were offered full-time, part-time, and through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). In addition to the President’s Cup, Ms Sinon also received the Best Academic Performance award for the Diploma in Secondary Education (History & Geography).
