Minister Pierre presents Golden Jubilee gifts to students

The Minister for Education & Human Resource Development, David Pierre, accompanied by a delegation, visited Grand Anse Mahé school and the School of Advanced Level Studies (Sals) on Wednesday, July 27, to present commemorative gifts on behalf of President Patrick Herminie, in celebration of Seychelles’ 50th Independence Golden Jubilee.

At Grand Anse Mahé school, the ceremony embodied the spirit of national pride and unity. Proceedings opened with welcoming remarks, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and the raising of the flag – a powerful symbol of Seychelles’ enduring sovereignty. The highlight of the morning was the presentation of commemorative gifts by the minister, who offered heartfelt encouragement:
