Tourism board welcomes move
Seychelles is set to become even more accessible to international travellers following Ethiopian Airlines’ introduction of double daily flights between Addis Ababa and Seychelles, effective December 1, 2026.
The expanded schedule marks a significant boost to the destination's air connectivity, enhancing travel options and supporting continued growth in visitor arrivals from key international markets.
The additional service will operate as part of the airline's winter schedule, with the second daily flight arriving at Seychelles International Airport at 4.20pm and departing for Addis Ababa at 5.50pm. The route will be served by a Boeing 737 aircraft, configured with 16 Business Class seats and 138 Economy Class seats, adding more than 1,000 seats per week to the market.
