International cinematic documentary charts Seychelles’ rise as Africa’s next investment frontier
Seychelles Documentary Series 2026: ‘Golden Jubilee, Blue Prosperity & Global Links’, a new country-branding documentary produced by the leading international corporate film production company SIM.films, premieres this week, spotlighting the archipelago's transformation into one of Africa's fastest-growing business, financial, FDI, and sustainable tourism destinations.
The documentary follows Seychelles’ Golden Jubilee celebrations marking fifty years of independence, and it will premiere on SBC1 on Monday, July 27 at 7pm CAT (9.00pm SCT), followed by its CNBC Africa broadcast on Tuesday, July 28 at 5.30pm CAT (7.30pm SCT) – aiming to reach almost 30 million viewers across +48 countries (Total Pan African Subscriber and Viewership Reach: 28, 631, 660 *IPSOS EMS Survey) – with two additional airings on CNBC Africa over the following weekend, and a rebroadcast on SBC2 on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in the afternoon. The premiere was preceded last week by a series of television commercials and promotional spots on SBC and CNBC Africa, supported by a dedicated social media campaign.
