Seychelles shines as Africa’s artistic dance capital
The rhythmic beats of music, dazzling costumes, flawless make-up, and electrifying performances transformed the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino into a vibrant celebration of dance as Seychelles hosted the 4th WADF All-African Artistic Dance Championship from July 18–19, 2026.
A total of 189 participants took part in the competition, demonstrating remarkable talent and dedication. Collectively, the dancers achieved an outstanding 1,350 medals — 600 Gold, 400 Silver, and 350 Bronze. These results reflect the participants’ hard work, commitment, and excellence throughout the event.
