Families unite to protect the Baie Lazare watershed

Families, children, and community members recently came together to strengthen their connection with nature during an environmental activity organised by the Baie Lazare Watershed Committee under the ‘Mindful Family Garden’ project.

The initiative, carried out in collaboration with the National Grants Fund, was inspired by the need to encourage greater community ownership of the environment while promoting cleaner, healthier watersheds. It also aimed to strengthen family ties, build resilience, and encourage mindfulness through meaningful engagement with nature.
